Tego® Coating and Ink Additives has introduced a new defoamer
for waterborne emulsions. The Foamex 855 is a 20% solids emulsion
based upon a polyethersiloxane copolymer. This defoamer provides
long-term persistence, better compatibility and good economics.
It shows best efficiency/compatibility in polyurethane, polyurethane/acrylics
and acrylic based system. Samples are available for testing.
Tego® Coating and Ink Additives is now offering a 100% solids
polyether modified siloxane for surface control in waterborne, solventborne
and UV systems. This product provides outstanding anticrater effect,
excellent slip properties, significant reduction in long and short
wave orange peel and recoatability. Glide 455 is highly effective
and is still recoatable! Samples are available for testing.

Sovereign Specialty Chemicals has introduced
a new 2K waterborne urethane resin system for use in coatings and
finishes that demand high performance, long wear and ease of application.
It is highly suitable for coating various flooring substrates such
as wood, resilient floors, vinyl, VCT and epoxy primed concrete.
The coating system is comprised of an OH functional base resin,
LQW47-44C, and isocyanate based curative, LQW47-91Y. Contact your
Cemsac representative to find out more about this new resin system.

Using a revolutionary, patent-pending production method, Shamrock
can now offer fully controlled distributions of PTFE in the submicron
range (200-700 nanometers), as well as tightly controlled chemical
and physical properties. NANOFLON PTFE is available as a powder
(NANOFLON P) or dispersion (NANOFLON D) in water or common organic
fluids. It is free of surfactants, wetting agents, rheological additives
and pH-adjusting agents.
The Disparlon AQ line has added another product to its line
of anti-settle/anti-sag agents. The new Disparlon® AQ-870 is
a liquid version of the AQ-600 series thixotropes. This product
interacts with resin and pigments to form a network structure that
prevents sagging and settling. AQ-870 is recommended for use in
waterborne systems including emulsion, dispersions and water reducibles.
Samples are available for testing.
CVC has introduced a new 3.9 functional epoxy phenol novolac resin.
Close process controls produce a resin significantly lower in viscosity
than other epoxy novolacs of similar functionality. The Epalloy
8370 is excellent for use in hot melt prepreg, filament winding,
circuit boards, coating and casting applications where high performance
at elevated temperature is required.
